In a short pitch, founder Elise Spaan took the jury and audience through the stories of people who are motivated to work in care but get stuck in inflexible training structures. Floow.ai showed how learning can take place directly on the work floor and better match what care workers can already do — freeing up 25% extra time for care at the bedside.
The jury praised the societal issue that Floow.ai addresses and the practical applicability of the solution. The regional final is part of the National Healthcare Innovation Award, which encourages care entrepreneurs to further develop and scale up innovative solutions. The event was organised by the Amsterdam Economic Board and all Zorg2040 partners (Sigra, Amsterdam AI, Health~Holland and Zorginnovatie.nl).
The win was claimed by Femke van der Gaag of Incision, securing a place in the national final on 15 April.
